Heavy equipment
We use our unique Deform: Method™ to develop and produce parts for mining, earthmoving, construction and other heavy equipment.
Examples of parts can be bucket and dump truck components, parts for lifting arms, reinforcement plates, and in general all parts that require durability and resistance to fatigue.
Deform: Method™ means that we hot form high-strength quenched and tempered steel and then restore the material properties through performing heat treatments.
This method provides stronger components that improve the performance of heavy equipment. The components will also be much lighter because the thickness can be reduced when using high-strength QT steel, instead of traditional construction steel.
Our single-piece-forming solutions can eliminate welds, or move weld seams to less vulnerable areas. As a result equipment becomes considerably lighter and stronger. Using single piece formed parts; you can take full advantage of the high-strength steel and avoid using fixtures in order to reduce distortion during welding.
We also form wear resistant steel with hardness up to 600HB for variety of applications such as buckets teeth, knives and shredders, parts for crushers, and bottom plates for mining and earthmoving equipment. The possibilities are enormous!
Applying welding on such hard material will negatively affect the hardness of plate especially at heat affected zones. But with our Deform: Method™ we deliver parts with hardness in harmony, and in equal values as of the original material.
