Deform manufactures pressure vessel parts for Nakkila with final destination Oslo
Nakkila Works Oy chose Deform AB to 3D shape parts into a hemisphere that is part of Nakkila's delivery of a heat accumulator with a diameter of over 20m for district heating water in Oslo.
The purpose of the accumulator tank is to further improve the plant's energy efficiency.
Nakkila signed the agreement in March with Fortum Oslo Varme AS for the delivery of a +350 MWh heat accumulator to their district heating plant in the Haraldrud district in Oslo and is planned to contribute to the distribution of greener energy to Fortum's customers during the latter part of 2022.
We at Deform are happy and proud that Nakkila has chosen us to prefabricate the parts for the hemisphere that will be the top of the accumulator vessel.
