SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY FOR NEW CUSTOMER IN HUNGARY
Deform has made two shells, one cone and two knuckle transitions connecting the cone with the shell for the Hungarian company Hötechnika. Everything is made of stainless steel from our neighbor Outokumpu and the transitions are formed in custom-unique tools. The largest shell has a diameter of five meters and the small one is about 1.8 meters. The total height is seven meters. When all parts were ready, they were pre-assembled and checked together with customer in Deform's premises. Then the formed and marked plates were packed in fixtures and transported to Hötechnika for assembly and welding.
The project was very successful in terms of time and quality. It was extra important in this project, since end customer down time is extremely expensive.
