Pressure Vessels
We at Deform are specialists in the advanced cold and hot forming of metal. We have great expertise in metallurgy and form pressure vessel components for demanding customers all around the world.
The oil & gas, petrochemical, pulp and paper, process, nuclear power, energy and submarine industries are just some of the end users for which our customers manufacture pressure vessels. We make the constituent parts, i.e. pressure vessel heads, sphere segments, hemispheres, crowns, cones, knuckle cones, shells, etc. Moreover we have a very long experience in supplying spherical storage tanks.
We also carry out cutting, pressing, heat treatment, plate working, roller bending and any additional welding. We work with quenched and tempered steels, stainless steels including duplex and super duplex, carbon steels, clad steels and even titanium, copper and aluminium.
Deform can manufacture both single-piece and segmental pressure vessel heads using plenty of press tools in different sizes that have been accumulated over a century. We supply different type of vessel heads such as Elliptical and Semi Elliptical (Korbbogenboden DIN 28013/14), Torispherical (Klöpperboden DIN 28011/12) and Hemispherical (Halbkugelboden) heads.
On top of this, we also offer welding wherever required. To optimise construction (number of segments, plate arrangement, etc.) and minimise welding and plate consumption, we are always happy to be involved at an early stage of the design phase.
Previously, we were ourselves manufacturers of complete pressure vessels. Our projects included vessels for the expansion of Sweden’s nuclear power industry. Consequently, we are receptive to and understand our customers’ requirements.
Our strategy is to find cutting-edge customers in each business area. This is because we are always keen to undertake what is difficult and work with the best. Our wealth of experience means that you can turn to us with confidence!
